FSA Regulated Stock Broker Our Client, a multi award-winning specialist CFD, Spread Betting and FX broker based in the City of London is looking for both experienced and inexperienced brokers to join their team. You will be expected to provide the client with a value-added execution-only service. You will act as the client’s account manager and broker. You will be on hand to assist your own clients, monitor their accounts and provide factual market news when required. You are also expected to work closely with the company’s internal research team, and adhere closely to internal trading rules and those of the Financial Services Authority. More Information? Job Role: Introducing new clients to the company Developing client relationships Executing trades on client instructions Researching financial markets Responding to client needs and requirements Providing exemplary customer service Assisting the client with trading strategies Skills & Qualities Required: Excellent verbal and written communications skills Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills Strong business analysis skills to understand client needs Ability to operate in a lively and fast paced environment Knowledge: You will be required to have a sound knowledge of: Securities and Derivatives markets Comprehensive knowledge of FSA Regulation Specialist knowledge of CFD’s and the UK Equities market, particularly the FTSE 350 Minimum Requirements: It is imperative in today’s current market that you are a fully qualified FSA representative for both this role and the majority of financial related roles within the city. For this role in particular you are expected to hold the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma in either Securities or Derivatives.
