Media Sales Representative - Senior Sales An opportunity has arisen to work for an established (Essex Based) advertising company, focusing mainly on UK based airports and shopping centres. Due to a company takeover and expansion requirements our client is currently recruiting high calibre telesales individuals with or without telesales experience. The position will be working as part of the regional sales team and will report directly to the Head of Sales who will give full training from the outset. Please note, this is a self employed position. More Information? Job Requirements: The main part of the job is to arrange and attend appointments with potential clients. You will be expected to promote the services of the company whilst maintaining business relationships ensuring clients requirements and expectations are met and exceeded at all times. The candidate will be expected to discuss different advertising opportunities over the telephone and face-to-face. Senior Sales Representatives are expected to arrange 8-10 appointments every week, and of those sign up between 2 and 3 deals. An average week would be 3 days in the office and 2 days out on the road. Hence a full clean driving license and the use of your own car is required. Candidate Requirements: Previous telesales experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential as this position is ideal for young, hungry individuals who are keen to be in a position of responsibility and benefit from a very generous commission structure. Duties: In order to arrange appointments, the successful candidate will be ‘cold calling’ and emailing businesses around the UK. They will be selling digital advertising in major shopping centres and airports by offering a 10 - 30 second TV style advert designed and made by the company which will then be played on the plasma screens at that particular sites. Commissions: Typically each advertising deal that is signed is worth between £2,000 - £5,000 on average, but one can charge a different rate depending on the type of business. Historic multisite deals have been worth up to £50,000 so it is in the candidates hands as to how successful they are in winning good quality business. Commission is paid as a flat 15% on all deals signed up.
