Regional Lettings Manager An opportunity has arisen to work for one of the UK’s fastest growing Lettings Agency/Housing Associations covering the whole of Birmingham. Currently our client provides property lettings and management services to over 3000 Landlords within London and is now expanding into Birmingham. Due to their rapid growth and having recently won a high profile government contract with Birmingham Council (the largest council in Europe) to supply DSS Housing to all of Birmingham, under the new “Let To Birmingham” Government Housing Scheme; our client is now seeking to recruit a professional and enthusiastic Lettings Manager for their newly opened regional office located in the heart of Birmingham. As a Regional Lettings Manager, you will be the most senior member of staff located at the Birmingham office and be responsible to make sure all processes and procedures are in place and functioning correctly. You will be responsible for all departments of the business, ensuring that the lettings department is achieving targets set by yourself and senior officers from the London HQ. You must be able to monitor every day proceedings within the workplace and identify areas that need strengthening, including individual or group training requirements. The successful candidate must have a versatile character and be able to communicate well with Tenants, Landlords and Agents. They must and also hold monthly review meetings with Birmingham City Council and keep up to date with any changes in legislation and industry standards. As a successful Regional Lettings Manager you must be able to prioritise workload, be extremely organised and have an exceptional work ethic and drive to succeed. Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office are required too. More Information?This role pays a basic salary of between £27,000 - £30,000 and uncapped commissions. OTE in the first year is expected to be in the region of £40,000. All salaries are reviewed on an annual basis and are subject to target and performance achievements. Other benefits will include the use of a company pool vehicle. The ideal applicant should have a minimum of 2 years experience in property sales/lettings, customer service and any other management type roles. They must also hold a full UK driving licence.
