Following a BSc (Hons) in Property & Finance, Yan completed his postgraduate degree from City University Business School with a distinction in MSc Investment Management. Beginning his City career in Investment Banking, at Credit Agricole Indosuez, he then progressed swiftly into stockbroking, working for the small and medium sized stockbroking houses - W.I. Carr Securities, Halewood International and Lewis Charles Securities are to name a few.

Telephone based and face-to-face selling is his forte, holding experience in all aspects of financial markets - Equities, Derivatives and Foreign Exchange. Yan has headed up large teams of brokers at numerous stockbroking houses and has made a successful career of training entry level Candidates and pushing them through to becoming experienced City & Finance professionals.

Now an ex-Securities and Derivatives Registered Representative, he has focused his skills on identifying the right candidates and placing them with the right firms.
