An opportunity has arisen to work on ‘part-time to full-time’ basis for an established wholesale supplier of entertainment products to both the UK and Europe’s hospitality sector. Our Client is looking for young and hungry individuals with the vision to succeed. They will offer on the job training and the chance to show your true potential. They are seeking a fast learner, with drive and energy to eventually move into a Sales and Account Management position. No previous sales experience is needed, but is preferred.
The Company
Located in the heart of Central London, our Client is the largest supplier of entertainment products to a host of recognised and prestigious Nightclubs, Bars, Restaurants, Hotel and Casinos throughout the UK. Their products and brand are renowned throughout the nightlife industry.
The Role
Primarily, your role will be to obtain new business for the company by generating interest over the telephone. You’ll be expected to build and establish client relations with the objective of converting them into paying customer and regular Clients. Leads will be provided but a knowledge of internet and social media will also be advantageous. You will be working on a ‘part-time to full-time’ basis, 4 days per working week, 6 hours per day (client flexible) to begin with, with a view to extending the hours and days worked on successful working relations and results.
The Candidate
We are looking for a very ambitious and a potentially high calibre sales individual. We are looking for a methodical and well-organised salesperson with excellent communication skills. The Candidate must be self-driven and results oriented. A clear speaking individual with a sound grasp on the English Language that can communicate clearly over the telephone is a requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Expected to make between 75 and 100 telephone calls each day, subject to quality of calls
- Keeping management informed by daily telephone call activity and results
- Coherently manage prospects in an organised and efficient manner
- Hit targets and assist the Company with its growth objectives
- Handle incoming enquiries from interested Customers
- Contacting and ‘warming up’ dormant leads
- Organising and submitting weekly performance logs
Knowledge, Experience & Attributes
- The Candidate must be reliable, well presented and comfortable with dealing with all types of individuals from different backgrounds
- You must be an excellent communicator and get on well with others
- Have the ability to ‘ask for the order’
- Ambitious and must possess the ability to self-motivate
- A problem solver who thrives on taking responsibility and thinking on their feet
- Excellent attention to detail, is preferred
- Strong English language (both written and oral), is preferred
- Experience working in the hospitality industry is useful
- Knowledge of computers and the internet is ideal
- Working experience with Microsoft Packages (Outlook, Word & Excel) is advantageous
- This role is perfect for all college / school leavers looking to get into a commission based sales role
